Interview Questions
Caldwell seeks to ensure a good match between the school and the parents’ desire for their child’s education. An interview takes place prior to admission screening and enrollment. The purpose of this interview is to discuss the purpose, policies, and procedures outlined in Caldwell’s Parent/Student Handbook as well as address any questions the parent may have. Listed below are the questions normally explored during the admissions interview.
- Who or what led you to Caldwell Academy?
- Why do you desire your child(ren) to attend Caldwell Academy?
- Describe what you believe constitutes a “Christian” school.
- What do you feel are the benefits of a Christian education?
- Briefly describe your understanding of the distinct characteristics of classical education.
- Describe your family structure and those things you value as a family.
- How should parents participate in the education and school life of their children?
- What questions or comments do you have regarding the Parent/Student Handbook?
