Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is an opportunity to invest in the academic and spiritual enrichment of students at Caldwell Academy as well as experiences for students that are a hallmark of classical education. The Annual Fund is our primary fundraiser, occurring in October and allowing pledges to be paid over a period of six months.
We desire 100% participation from our Board, faculty, staff, and families. Whether it is $10 or $10,000, your gift is important. Our goal for the 2011-2012 school year was $215,000, which we exceeded by God’s grace! Grandparents, friends of the school, and organizations are also asked to prayerfully consider giving. Many companies offer matching gifts for your donations to Caldwell.
In an attempt to improve the Annual Fund, and better match personal philanthropic preferences with our needs, we are offering restricted giving opportunities. Please review the following family of annual funds to select the area that best suits your interest. Your gift to the funds of your choice will help ensure excellence in that program for the year ahead.
Athletics – In addition to learning the mechanics of a sport, there are many lessons to be learned on the playing field. Students are given the opportunity to learn about the balance of commitment, physical fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship. Godly character is developed and molded as students test their skills against opponents and one another. Gifts to this fund will help purchase equipment, uniforms, and provide for ongoing maintenance of athletic facilities.
Fine Arts – “In the beginning, God created…”- this is a concept that we as Christians should embrace. It is the mission of the fine arts department to encourage Caldwell students to discover, nurture, develop, and challenge the creativity God has given each of them. Your contributions will enable Caldwell to acquire equipment and supplies that will help cultivate artistic excellence in our students. Your funds will provide art supplies, music, instruments, and travel opportunities for our performing groups as well as costuming and sets for drama productions. The possibilities are endless!
Technology - Enriched academic programs are a crucial step in providing a superior learning environment and preparing our students to be globally competitive. Contributions to this fund will go toward the development of future computer labs, and ongoing computer hardware and software needs.
Classroom Enrichment – Teachers often have specific needs for their classrooms. This fund enables teachers to purchase items to enrich student learning.
