Volunteer Opportunities
Parent Volunteer Association
John 7:38 – Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him…As you give the blessing you have received, then you will quickly find that the Holy Spirit is with you. He will bestow blessings to you for service, giving you all He can trust you to give away to others.
The Parent Volunteer Association (PVA) is the “voice” of Caldwell. They were established to encourage all parents of Caldwell to use their own gifts in the area of volunteerism. The PVA is committed to serving the needs of Caldwell both inside and outside of the classroom.
As a member of the PVA, you commit to attending monthly meetings and are encouraged to serve on at least one school wide event committee within the year. This allows full representation and communication between all groups at Caldwell. The PVA helps promote parental involvement; encourages attendance, communication, and feedback; provides support and encouragement to the staff, and cultivates strong relationships among the families of Caldwell – all for the glory of God.
PVA meetings are open to all Caldwell parents and occur on the second Friday of each month from 8 to 9:15 a.m. Contact Lisa Talavera for more information at lisa.talavera@caldwellacademy.org or at 336-235-4602
