Amy Kirkman

I was born in Morganton, NC and came to Greensboro to attend UNC-G. It was here that my faith began to grow and I learned to cultivate a personal relationship with Christ. I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation Therapy and worked in long-term care at Evergreen’s Nursing Home for several years. I met my husband, Chris, in the college class at Westover Church. We were married in 1989 and have two beautiful daughters, Anne Marie and Olivia. I was a “stay at home mom” prior to being employed at Caldwell when our youngest daughter was in the second grade. I love the opportunity I have each day to “lighten the load’ of the teachers and to assist the students in learning… especially leading them to a deeper faith in Christ. Some of my interests include cooking, decorating, reading, working in the yard and exercise.
