Ashley Davis

Joining Caldwell during the spring semester of 2007, Ashley holds a BA in Communication: Journalism and a minor in Bible & TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) from Lee University. Upon college graduation, Ashley spent one year teaching English to students in Pre-K-6th grade at a Christian school in Puerto Montt, Chile. She later returned to Greensboro and her family, where she taught in the Guilford County School system. In her first year at Caldwell, Ashley taught Spanish II & IV and served as a TA in Art. At the close of her first year, she answered God’s call to return to her first love: Art. Currently, Ashley is the Grammar Art & Rhetoric Photography Teacher. She is thrilled to be a part of the Fine Arts Faculty at Caldwell Academy, where the arts are used to glorify the Lord. She is passionate about working with children and using Art to teach her students how to worship God through the different mediums of Art. Ashley enjoys spending time in God’s creation, observing its beauty and teaching others to see it as well. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking & biking with her husband, Samuel. She is also a serious photography enthusiast and loves painting & reading. Ashley and her husband live in Kernersville and are active members of Calvary Church in Greensboro.
