Teaching is not my profession, it is my passion. Just as Spurgeon said of pastoring, if you can do something else, do it! With a B.A. in Developmental Psychology and a Masters in Counseling, one would think that I would be doing something else, yet, the classroom has been my main venue of service for over 25 years. My teaching experiences include home educating our three sons, co-operative teaching with other home educators, public education, Classical Christian schools, women’s conference speaker, Bible Study teacher, Sunday School teacher, and VBS curriculum writer and teacher. There is no greater joy for me than to serve my Savior by encouraging others, especially children, that they can do “all things through Christ who strengthens them” and to see it bear fruit in their lives. My prayer is that I will educate, encourage, edify and motivate my students at Caldwell Academy to “love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and their neighbors as themselves,” and to do their work “heartily as unto the Lord.”
