I am originally from Mississippi and moved to North Carolina in 1983, and I have spent most of my career as a CPA in public practice. My wife Caroline and I have three grown sons and our daughter, Anna, graduated from Caldwell in 2009. In her 13 years at the school, she developed a love of learning that has continued, and the blessings of godly men and women of Caldwell Academy pouring themselves into her life is evident. I have had the privilege of serving on the board of Caldwell Academy since 1998 and during that time have seen God’s hand move mightily in our school. The effort of our teachers, staff, and parents (which has been considerable!) has been multiplied by the Lord to His glory. I believe that the “secret” of Caldwell has been the commitment to prayer and an attempt to follow God’s Word in the school’s every endeavor.
