I have always wanted to teach…ever since I was five and inspired by my Kindergarten teacher. So, after graduating from Appalachian State University in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education, I moved to Charlotte, NC, and began my career. Soon I felt called back to Greensboro, NC. So, in 2002 I came to Caldwell and took a position as a fourth grade teacher. I married the next year, and in 2005 had my first little one, a boy. I took a year off after holding the fourth grade teaching position for 3 years. But, God got a hold of me once again and called me back to Caldwell. Since then, I have had the pleasure of inspiring young 5th grade minds!
