In 1995 my husband Marshall and I were invited to an informational meeting about a new Classical Christian school starting in Greensboro, Caldwell Academy. After hearing the plans for the school, meeting the founders and learning about Classical Christian education, we left the meeting with enthusiastic and thankful hearts desiring this experience and education for our three daughters. They have since graduated from Caldwell, college and are now working. Prior to Caldwell I was employed with the Guilford County and Winston-Salem/Forsyth school systems. In 2000 I joined Caldwell to start Caldwell’s guidance department. A day doesn’t go by that I am not thankful for an environment where I can share the love of Christ, lead and guide students in their day to day pursuits, equip and encourage students to prepare for life after high school, and to work with a team of creative and fun loving teachers and staff. Caldwell is an awesome place! Outside of Caldwell I can be found working in my garden, trying my hand at a new DIY activity, riding horses, or hanging out with family and friends.
