In Proverbs 25:2 states, “For it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to seek out a matter.” I love working at Caldwell Academy where teachers and students alike are encouraged to explore the things of this world together, in eager pursuit of our God. This verse has been my guiding light in the pursuit of understanding the world in which we live and the paradigm in which I model my teaching. In 2005, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization with a focus in Roman Civilization from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I came to Caldwell in 2007 to teach 6th grade Latin. During that time, Caldwell became my family while my husband was gone on deployment in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. Currently, I teach Rhetoric Latin and love each day I talk about history, language and God and how it all connects. Caldwell has demonstrated itself to be a place of family support, Godly guidance, and desire to understand this complex world that God has created for us to explore to better know Him.
