Entering the field of education came as a surprise to me. I have always loved working with kids, but after running a daycare for five years, decided I needed adult company. I closed my daycare and went into the accounting field. This was not where God wanted me. After a few years, God called me to teach. I tried to ignore His call on my life, but He made it immensely clear what He desired from me. I finally obeyed His call. I left the field of accounting and started teaching at the Christian school my boys attended. I was immediately led to obtain my Master’s in elementary education: 5 -8. I quickly learned how much I love teaching and what a wonderful Savior and Father we have. There is no greater joy than to be in God’s will, doing His work. Four years later, God called on my family once again. This time we did not hesitate to respond to the call to leave our home of 13 years and move to N.C. God immediately provided my husband and myself with incredible jobs. I am beyond thankful for God’s continued blessings. I am very excited about having the ability to continue to serve God in a Christian school. I pray that I am able to guide your children to a love and understanding of the awesome power and majesty of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
