Shaney Lipes
I am thrilled to be teaching at Caldwell Academy. I recently moved to the Piedmont Triad from Marietta, Georgia to join my husband. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Religion, I moved to Massachusetts to pursue an M.A. in Religion at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. After graduating from GCTS in 2009, I worked in DC as a faculty advisor for the Junior National Young Leadership Conference leading middle school students around our nation’s capital and teaching them about leadership. Soon after, I became a teacher at Atlanta Classical Christian Academy where I came to love the classical Christian model. I believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit, and teaching a variety of different grade levels and curriculum has truly given me an opportunity to learn and grow. Previously, I have taught 2nd-7th grade, and now I love working with my wonderful sixth graders. I enjoy spending time with my husband, reading biblical commentaries and historical fiction, and cheering on my Georgia Bulldogs!
