My wife and I became involved with Caldwell as it was forming in 1995. We have a 9th grader, a 5th grader, and a 2nd grader. Our fourth daughter, who has Down Syndrome, is a first grader at Claxton Elementary. We knew several of the people who birthed the vision for Caldwell and wanted to come alongside in the effort to build a quality institution that would stress academic excellence but also be steeped in Christ. We have since come to appreciate the wisdom of the classical model of education, and how it instills in our children a love of learning. It’s refreshing to see your children actually look forward to going to school (most days anyway)! I am a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) by profession and am Treasurer of Gate City Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Luke 6:40b states “but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher”. I cannot imagine a better place for my children to spend the majority of their time each day than Caldwell Academy.
