Sonya Crawford

I am very excited about the upcoming year as a teacher in a new position at Caldwell. While I have been teaching for many years, I am opening myself up to a very different population of students. For the past eighteen years, I have been an adjunct Developmental English instructor at GTCC. Many of my students there were refugees or minorities, impoverished or disadvantaged in some way. I thank God for the opportunity to minister to them and for the opportunity to learn from them. I am now equally thankful to be given the task of instructing and mentoring your children in the dialectic school where I will endeavor to hone their skills of writing. Hopefully, in the process, we will become better critical thinkers, develop skills to organize our work, and produce grammatically correct papers. Well, that’s my mission, anyway! Please trust me as I work to mold your children into responsible and proficient rhetoric adolescents.
