After living in New York, Colorado, Kansas, Ohio, Canada, and Connecticut, it is a blessing to call North Carolina home! My husband and I have twin daughters and two sons. They are all married. Over the past six years, our family has been blessed with the addition of nine grandchildren. We are members of Westover Church, where our family is involved in missions and group Bible studies. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in history. After teaching for five years at the upper elementary level, I became a full-time parent who enjoyed being involved in my children’s classrooms, schools, and community activities, as well as their youth programs at church. In our family, learning was never limited to the classroom, as we encouraged lifelong learning in our home, both academically and in our walks with the Lord. I returned to the classroom in 1996 as a substitute teacher. What a joy and rich blessing it is to have been in the classroom full-time at Caldwell Academy since 2004!
